Finger Lakes Textiles has 15,000 square feet of manufacturing and production space and 50+ employees, many of whom are veterans or have disabilities, and all of whom take great pride in supporting the military and businesses of America.

The Textiles Division utilizes Juki, Pegasus, and other sewing machines, sergers, circular knitting machines and other textile related equipment. We work with small start-up companies, army surplus stores, retailers, and state- to federal-level government military contracts.

In addition to providing contract sewing and knitting services, we produce over 1.2 million pieces of winter headwear each year for both the Armed Forces and our commercial brand, Arctic Gear.


Cut & Sew Manufacturing

FLT provides contract Cut and Sew services utilizing commercial sewing equipment and highly trained sewers. We perform work for manufacturers who may need additional surge capacity to new entrepreneurs just beginning their product manufacturing. We source the cutting and sew to your specifications with the highest quality. With over 35 years in the textile industry, FLT is known as an agile partner able to assist with low to high volume projects. Product prototyping

Do you have a product idea that you want to see come to life? We can help by sourcing materials and providing a product prototype. Once the first article prototype has been approved, we can manufacture samples for use in developing market and investor interest in the product and your company. As part of our consulting service and during the prototype and sample making process, our team with over 35 years of experience in the textile industry will provide suggestions, ideas and recommendations to help move the product through commercialization and to market.


Knitting

FLT has six (6) high speed circular knitting machines which can produce knit in multiple yarns including wool, wool blends and acrylic. Once knit, our team then sews the final steps, finishes and packages the product for shipment. We also provide e-commerce fulfillment and warehousing solutions to make your job easier.


Our buyers have multi-year relationships with material suppliers around the world and can source materials saving you time and maximizing your dollars.

Material Sourcing


We will package to your specifications pack for final shipping, palletize as needed and prepare for shipment. We also offer reduced rates on UPS and LTL freight.

Your raw materials, work in process and finished products are inventoried, tracked and secured in our production facility.

We pick, pack and ship the orders to your specifications using your freight account or ours and provide tracking information.
